We meet all of our candidates, and offer a careful, considered, long-term approach to helping them further their careers. We are extremely mindful of how small the market is, and you have our firm commitment that any conversations will be totally discreet.
We understand that sometimes it is too late, and the cat is out of the bag, but generally we prefer to work on an exclusive, time limited basis. This means no other recruiters involved in the background making a mess. We'd like to take the time to meet, properly talk through your aspirations, go through a longlist, shortlisting down to just a few options (usually 2-3). We will then take a few days to have conversations with the key decision makers at these companies, and book meetings. Where we can't secure anything, we will tell you the specifics of why, along with any feedback.
We have a core client base of companies who have low staff turnover, deliver quality work, and who treat their staff well. Generally we will steer you in their direction. That said, we have access to 90% of the market, so if there is a particular business you've heard good things about, then we'll usually be able to put a call in on your behalf.

Moonlight Referral Promise
We believe great people recommend great people. Our referral scheme is a big part of how we operate, and we regularly pay out rewards to people who introduce us to standout talent. If you refer someone we’re not already in regular contact with, and we place them with one of our clients, we’ll pay you a referral bonus as a thank you.
Referral Rewards:

Up to £39,000 salary: £500

How it Works:

The candidate must be semi-new to us - we must not already be in regular contact with them.

The person you refer doesn’t need to know you’ve suggested them. We handle all introductions discreetly and professionally.

Referrals are logged on our database and remain valid for 12 months from the date of introduction.

Payment is made once the client has paid their invoice (typically within 14–30 days of the candidate starting).

If your referral leads to a freelance placement, the fee will vary depending on the arrangement - but we’ll always aim to agree something worthwhile.

There’s no cap on how many referrals you can make.
